Bio

Cristiana is an experienced project manager with an entrepreneurial mindset that worked with NGOs, public sector and private companies. She has over 10 years experience in writing and managing projects with european, national and private funding. 
With studies in Marketing, Managerial Communication and Human Resources as well as Project and Process Management (MBA - Vienna University of Economics and Business), Cristiana has always emphasised the importance of innovation in organizations, that’s why starting this year she became a freelancer offering mentoring services for start-ups, companies or NGO’s in the field of Business and Project management.

In 2011 she contributed to the creation of the first IT educational hub for highschool students in Romania, known as the Technical Creation Center for Youth - inventeaza.ro and after a few years co-founded DeviceHub.net, one of the most promising startups in Romania on Internet of Things, which received private funding from the Deutsche Telekom investment group. The start-up was accepted at international accelerators and incubation programs such as: Seedcamp, Warp, Challenge Up, Hub: Raum etc., programs Cristiana attended and having the opportunity to get mentorship from top investors and tech angels.

In recognition of her achievements she was included in New Europe 100: eastern Europe’s emerging technology stars short list (Financial Times, noiembrie 2017), was nominated to „Forbes Gala 30 under 30” (April, 2016) and earned “Most Influential Woman in Romania by SAP” title at Global Startup Awards (November, 2016).

Throughout her mentoring and training career in innovation and technology she coordinated the teams that won numerous awards such as: Two prizes (III & IV) at Da Vinci 2016 - Innovation Contest, Second Prize at HackTM 2014, 1st prize of Yahoo Open Hack 2011, Webstock Prize 2011, Inventika 2011, etc.

In 2016, Cristiana co-founded two other companies: Academia inventeaza.ro - organization that delivered robotics and programming courses to young people aged 7-17, and Zalmotek - hardware and software prototyping organization working internationally.

During her career she was involved in lots of projects with huge impact but the most recent one is viziere.ro, a project she managed directly from the beginning. Viziere.ro was started in March 2020 by a group of young architects, designers and producers who understood the need to get involved in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis.
The civic action through which free visors were produced for the front line staff against COVID-19 quickly turned into a national program with a strong impact involving more than 2600 volunteers and 150 organizations that managed to produce and distribute for free around 330.000 visors that were sent to more than 1700 medical units, MICs, schools, organisations and institutions.

Currently, Cristiana is delivering training courses for companies in industries such as construction, IT, automotive and telecommunications being also part of Colors in Projects Company that offers Agile Trainings and Coaching services.
