Ioana Calen

I am a former tech journalist who founded Modulab as the first science and art laboratory in Bucharest in order to pursue my passion for science and technology. As the director of Modulab, I curated Romanians pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennale 2012, founded and directed the first art&science festival in Bucharest, Liminal (www.liminal.ro) and curated over 10 art, tech and science exhibitions. At Agora Robotics, a robotics spin off from Modulab, I am mainly in charge of administrative, logistic, marketing, and public communications effort. Obviously, as a co-founder, there really is no task that it's not my responsibility, so, apart from actually assembling robots, my specific touch is to be found about anywhere at Agora.
