Bio

Marius Mitrofan, founder and CTO of Rungutan, is a DevOps Engineer at core with over 10 years of experience in making applications scalable in any programming language and any cloud provider.

He started his career from bottom to top. From Junior to Senior IT Analyst and System Admin in Romania, he then took international opportunities working abroad as IT Consultant and moved his expertise to the DevOps discipline.

Fun fact: He’s even taken the role of a CoBOL programmer, just to see why everyone hates it. End-result -> let’s just say it makes sense to actually hate it!

He launched NETBEARS over 3 years ago, a DevOps-as-a-Service Consultancy company, with B2B clients on the global market. Marius started building the Rungutan V1 platform in 2019 and launched it this June. At the moment he studies the trends of emerging technologies for the next decade, in order to find the best solutions for implementing V2 of Rungutan.

However, due to high costs and too much time spent for writing and defining test cases, with current load testing solutions, organizations usually forget or choose to do these kind of tests only when it’s too late or simply before big scheduled events such as Black Friday Sales.

minutes, while simulating workflows that emulate user experience. Furthermore, we will be simulating a LIVE multi-distributed and coordinated Denial of Service attack through Internet of Things simulated devices to understand and better prepare our own applications for the worst.
